More Public Policy Work for You!

Bonjour!

I am in French right now, but I felt that it was time to publish another part of the project for your enjoyment. Here is the final draft (until my other humanities teacher gets it back to me... I have been waiting for about a month) of my research paper. Enjoy! I will publish my power point soon.

Technology working? Possibly... Maybe...

I believe this will work. Here is the link to my outline for this project.

Please, no plagiarism. If you use my writing it must be cited correctly. I will be posting more later and I want to know people respect the time and research I put into this project, thus I post it. I cited my sources, so if you wish to see where I learned my information then you may.

Technology annoys...

Hello again.

Well, I have been having some problems. I would like to post my outline/paper/power point etc. and I have been trying to do so with links to them, not copying and pasting. I unfortunately have no idea of how to do this or if it is even possible. I looked at word press, i and i will continue to do so, but as of right now this is the only place I have my project. If anybody has any idea of how to add links to something other than a website I would appreciate the help.

Until I can figure out how not to drown this blog in writing, ttfn.

The Meaning of This...

Hello all,

First of all, My name is Devyn-Reilly. I am part of the class of 2010 in Casco Bay High School, and this blog is my action project. An action project for what? Well, every junior commits to a controversial topic that affects our nation and becomes as knowledgeable about it as they can. The student researches their topic, writes papers, and makes a presentation that is presented to a panel of experts. The next part of the project is to make and try to follow through with an action project.

The title of this project is Public Policies.. And for my class it started in early October and has yet to end. as you might have surmised from the title of this blog, my topic was and is the legalization of physician aid-in-dying. Also known as physician-assisted suicide, it is legal in two states; OR and WA, and has a precedent in MO.

On this blog I would like to make the feelings of terminally-ill patients, family, friends and anybody who, like me, feels that this topic needs to be at least talked about. I do not aim to attack anybody for their beliefs, though I will bring up some touchy subjects, I will explain why everything is posted. If one has a problem with something I say, I will welcome any polite and well crafted comments. I will delete any comments with foul language, or that attack a group, or anything I find that could be considered rude or demeaning. I understand that this topic is very controversial and that people get very opinionated, and keeping this in mind I hope that everyone who reads my posts will be respectful and find themselves thinking more about what is legal and what is not, as well as what they feel should be legal and what the feel should not be.

I will post some of the material that I used during this project as soon as I can. If you have a story that relates to this topic or someone you know does I would love to hear it... or read it. I think that is everything... TTFN!
